Tips for your final exam on December 19th at 10:30 a.m.:

1. Read the fantasy midterm, reposted here. The format of the exam is the same as the midterm. It is very important for you to think about how the midterm answers -- the best ones in your class -- answer the question. You should be sure to answer questions to address not just the literal meaning of the question, but also why it is important to know.

2. Review all lecture slides from the entire class, with special attention to weeks 8 through 14, inclusive. The long essay will expect you to think about themes addressed early in the class.

3. Review the supplementary readings -- look at the quiz (reading reaction) questions as well as your answers to those questions. Do not be surprised if one or more of those readings are referred to in the exam questions. If you look at them as a whole, you can see that they are meant to illustrate the importance of the topic we studied each week.

4. Do the extra credit by WEDNESAY, the 13th. Literally, there is nothing better than to anticipate what the questions might be/should be!

5. Attend a review session but ONLY IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS to ask. We are likely to have one this Friday and next Monday on Zoom. Links to follow.
