There's no assigned reading for class on Monday August 25. It will be good to meet you then regardless, so we do meet in-person at the usual time (for your section) on Mon. Aug. 25. We'll overview the semester, do an introductory ice-breaker, and field questions for an hour, maybe less.

Then for Wed. Aug. 27 there are three assigned readings, all below: Graff's "Entering the Conversation" is a short 13 pages (it's double spaced and has visuals), the Coursework guide is a 2 page handout, but the syllabus is 15 single-spaced pages, a challenging but most important reading assignment.
