Instructions: Please answer all questions below.  You will be graded on your ability to demonstrate that you mastered the material and can apply what you learned in Unit 1. In all cases, your answers should be detailed, organized, and illustrated with examples from course texts and class discussions.  You must demonstrate that you have mastered the material and can apply what you have learned through the reading and in class.

Each response should be a minimum of 250 words. Be concise and omit unneeded words but be sure to include all the important points. The most important thing is that you give a complete answer that includes all the key points that are relevant to the question. Also, be sure to answer all parts of each essay question. 

You have one attempt at this exam and a time limit of 180 minutes. Please ensure you are ready to fully complete the exam when you open it. Additional attempts will not be provided. You may use your notes, class materials, and book for this exam, but remember you only have 3 hours. Beginning the exam prepared and organized is essential.
